Bullet pins on Gillette razors...

As a fairly new convert to DE shaving/collecting, I was wondering if the Gillette razors stopped using those bullet pins on their razors at a certain point. Was there a cut off year for razors with them, and then they never reappeared? Did Gillette use them later? I was just wondering if those could be used to somewhat tell that a Gillette razor was fairly old, (or at least older than a certain year).

Stopped around 1929 I think for the old type pocket set. Is there a date code on the head?

That isn't my razor. I was just asking a general question about Gillette razors. I wondered if those pins were stopped at some point, or if Gillette ever put out razors later that also had them.

1929 saw the introduction of the Gillette New, which was a total head redesign, and no longer used the bullet pins. The pins were never used after this.

with the introduction of the NEW slotted blade they don´t need longer the bullit pins for fix the blade into the razor head:
