Bulk Proraso

Hello all,
I came across a vendor through this forum that sold Proraso in super-large tubes (not the bath and body works size, maybe 5x that size). Does anyone know what vendor this was or one that has tubes that large? Thanks!

Yup, Superlather has (had?) them. It seems like overkill unless you're a barber though :^)

It's overkill, unless you have somehow managed to limit yourself to just one product, and hence shave with that product everyday. For most of us, it would take us like 5-10 years to use up that much Proraso.

Ha, a warning:

Please be aware that Proraso has changed the tubes recently on the 500ml size. They appear to be made of a much thinner plastic and rupture easily. I have received a few wrapped in tape in what I assume is an effort to reinforce them during their journey and strengthen them during repeated use. Owing to the tube's large and unwieldy size a few of my customers have always squeezed the contents into a large widemouth glass jar with a resealable lid and in light of this recent change by Proraso I am recommending everyone do this. You can pick up Anchor Hocking glass jars with lids at any of several of your local retailers if you don't already have one or two in your shaving cabinet.

...squeezed the contents into a large widemouth glass jar with a resealable lid...

I own myself a 500 ml tube...the regular thicker one i think and no problems at all, but recently i squeezed some in a tub just for traveling. Mine dried and became hard as a soap...i don't know if it's a good idea...

That's basically all Proraso soap is, the same recipe as the cream but with less water. Just lather it up as you would a soap and you should get the same type of performance you're used to.

I buy the 500ml tubes.

Nothing better than wipping up a bathtub full of lather with a broom, then jumping in before a full body shave!
