Brushes - Faux Horn

Well I'm a week into my venture into the world of wet shaving - and the disorder of acquiring massive amounts of equipment is already sinking in. Thanks a lot B&B

Now, I started with the Tweezerman Brush, and It's alright, but I don't like how short it is. I have been using a mug to whip up lather, and because the brush is so short, it's just not the right tool for the job.

So here's what I'm looking for - a Mid Range Brush ($50-$60), Badger, with a faux horn handle. I really like the "horn" look, but the number of brushes out there is so overwhelming, I was hoping I could pull on the the collective strength of this group for some suggestions. I really like the way this one is styled, but the price is outrageous for what it is.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm not familiar at all with the Grooming Lounge line of brushes. The brush you linked is handsome indeed. The Rooneys that Ambrose recommends above, however, are tried and true.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys! The EJ is definitely the front runner so far - although it is only best badger - would that really be an upgrade from my tweezerman? I do love the styling though.....

Wow that Muhle is sharp! Seems like a bit out of the range though....along with the two ambrose posted.

Or you could get real horn. I'm looking at one of these. I still haven't pulled the trigger thoughThere is a review on here.

They also have some cheaper ones.

The only thing I worry about is the knot. You can get just handles and get a knot for them as well.

That might be the ticket! Do you have experience with this merchant? How fast is delivery to the US?

Thanks!

I have ordered from The English Shaving Co. many times. Shipping is very quick and they always include some really nice Edwin Jagger samples.
