Hi guys, I just bought a Chubby #3 and a Kent BLK-12, love them both, now I'm looking for one that is kinda in the middle of those two. Any suggestions ? Let me know.

Have a look at the BLK8, still has some backbone but not as big as the BLK12.

Wow, 1 response, this is hard to believe.
Seems like this would encompass a TON of brushes. I'd probably toss a SR 3824 into the mix or an M&F 2 band.
The problem is that the two brushes you bought are almost polar opposites, so just about any other brush would fit in the middle. I think a nice compromise would be a Shavemac or Thater Silvertip.
They're both big brushes, but one has lots of loft, and one has less. As mentioned above, an inbetween might be a Thater 3 band bulb... probably less backbone than the chubby but more than the Kent. I only have a chubby 1 and Kent bk8 to compare though.
This. There's a reason the SR3824 won the Brush Wars a couple of years ago.
If you really want the ultimate in a big brush, consider a Plisson HMW 20 in horn. It comes in somewhere between a CH3 and BK12, since it isn't quite as muscular as the Simpson, but not as floppy as the Kent. The HMW grade is about as high-end as it gets (as long as you make sure it's two-band...even Plisson has been known to slip in three-band into their HMW brushes), and the horn handle is icing on the cake.
