brush knot replacement question

I'm replacing a new knot into an old Ever-Ready handle.

What would be the best type of glue to use?

I use a water resistant 5 minute epoxy from DevCon Part# 20845

I use 2 part epoxy as well but have used rod bond on one. It worked just fine. You might check on the brush making and restoration forum here to get other options. There are guys there that do a LOT of brushes, and can give some good ideas.
