Brush advice for a noob

I am contemplating between the Edwin Jagger Best Badger, the Vuflix 374, or possibly a shavemac (havent decided on a model yet, but something price comparable to the other two)

While they're probably all great brushes, I say go with the Shavemac in finest. I have one and love it.

i wenth with the ej because it was sold locally at c&e. I've gone on hyooge soap, blade and razor aquisition binges, but havnt felt the need to do so for brushes. it plane works wonderfully for me...think i lucked out.

When I started wetshaving, around 2000, I quickly bought a silvertip badger brush(shavemac). Since then I bought about 4 more, 1 rooney, 1 dovo and 2 more shavemacs.
All silvertips. About a week ago, on a impulse, I bought a pure badger shavemac from WCS.
I am very pleased at the way it lathers up wih my hard soaps and gives a little firmer massage on my face. Plus it is way cheaper than the silvertips. Like all the other shavemacs, it is a very well made quality brush.
I would highly recommend it.

I would choose a Shavemac if I would buy a brush. Used their knots in several of the ones I make, and I like the "pure" I made for myself. The finest knot I have left is just great, this will make a nice custom brush for someone one day.....
