Hey Guys, I recently snagged this off ebay. I bought it for around 10-15 so I think I got a pretty good deal. It's in great condition.

However I am just curious if any of you guys can tell me some more about this tech? I know its made in england but I don't know the age range, what its worth and so forth. I'd love to know more about it.

Is it really light? Looks like an aluminum handled version, but it's so shiny! Looks like according to Achim's site those started around 1963: http://www.mr-razor.com/Rasierer/Tech/Tech.htm

Yea its very light. It defiantly aluminum.

is the weight going to be an issue when shaving with said tech?

any lighter razor tends to be less aggressive. all techs are known for their mild shaves. techs are one of my favorite type of gillette razors despite being a mild shave. you probably wont get a bbs shave but still very possible to get a dfs or ccs which i prefer since when i go for bbs shaves i get irritation
