Been DE shaving since early June with the hopes of saving some money (once I quit buying stuff), on the high prices of Schick Extreme ll. I had very little adjustment adapting on my face as I was able to shave 'leak free' in less than 5 shaves.
The challenge was my head, I shave my head 2-3 times a week and I was wanting to go DE there as well. I started just shaving a little bit on the top, then the sides as I got used to the new feel on my head. The main concern was the back of my head maintaining the angle required and not shred myself to pieces. The other area was behind my ears as it is somewhat delicate as well. I would use the Schick around my ears, then switch to my ICE DE for the rest.
Today was like a graduation day, my entire head with a DE razor, Shark SS blade and the new Proraso green. A decent shave, not BB, but very acceptable. Looks like my days of buying high priced disposable razors are gone.
