Bread on my Grill

I have started baking bread and finally did my first cook on the Egg. The oven spring, when baking directly on the stone, is a lot better than on a pan, in the oven.

This loaf was made with leftover pizza dough. I made two more, on-purpose loaves, but did not get any pictures.

Very nice! Back home I made a rustic clay oven (it gets really hot) and I used to bake bread, slow roast meat, etc.

Did you try adding anything to the dough? like olives, sunblush tomatoes, peppers or even crispy bacon?

I do it sometimes, and is really nice
 
Now that we are all experts on crumb and crust we need to see that opened up, that could be the latest effort from your pottery class for all we know? :001_tt2:
 
You will have to wait for the next loaf -- to see the crumb. That one is long gone.

I have added olives and rosemary, but not on any that I have cooked on my grill.
