The case is the difference.

It's the same Razor.

It's also the same Razor as is in the Rich Wood set.

They're all 'New Improved' razors, really (Bostonian, New Improved, New Standard). Also, the Tuckaway has the same head, but a smaller handle.

I found the Tuckaway to be the best shaver of the bunch.

I do like the mechanism of the Bostonian case, though.

Pinaud, in my book, there really is no better razor than the "New Improved", which includes the two named above and a bunch more. I prefer it even to the "New Deluxe", yup, I said it.

That's reassuring, I couldn't see a difference. Thought I needed to get my eyes examined.

Based on the limited experience with different style razors I have to agree with you Darjeeling. I've become a bit infatuated with the my New Standard.

Thanks

I do prefer the New Deluxe to the New Improved style razors. Different strokes, I guess.

I'll be glad to take your New Deluxe off your hands, if you like.

me too, the new deluxe is probally one of the best razors ever made, and yet not many were made i think from 1930 to 34?

Actually less then that. The last De Luxe model made was around Feb. 1st, 1931. My De Luxe razors are all dated 1930.
