Bora Bora & Thallium?

Hey guys - Now that spring is officially here (even though we still have a ton of snow here in the Adirondacks), I thought I would pick up a couple of new colognes. Have any of you had any experience with Bora Bora by Claiborne or Thallium by Jacques Evard?

Both seem to have good reviews online. However, from what I have read Thallium is a vanilla based scent. Women are supposed to love it but I don't know if I want to go around all day smelling like a baked good.

Just hesitant at purchasing something before I test it. You guys are always very helpful and knowledgeable so I figured I would check to see if any of you have tried either of these.

I have tried Thallium and it is indeed pretty sweet. Smelled like cotton candy once it settled down on my skin. I was actually quite surprised it was a mens fragrance I was wearing.....

I like all the 3 Thalliums.
They are some of the best cheapie frags you can buy.

Thallium Sport is a mix of Dior Homme Sport (old version from 2012) and Chanel Allure Homme Sport. Really quite great for a frag with SPORT in its name that cost $20 for a 100 ml EDT.
Thallium Black is a materpiece IMHO - it is what Mugler A*Men Taste of fragrance should have been, remove the chilli note from Taste of Frag and you have Thallium Black.
Thallium Pour Homme is an okay vanilla gourmand frag that I enjoy to layer with these frags: Hanae Mori for Men, Givenchy Play Intense & Rochas for Men.

If you want a Thallium that will work for spring and summer, forget the Thallium Pour Homme and get Thallium Sport.
I almost prefer it over my Dior Homme Sport - almost.......a mix of Dior Homme Sport and Chanel Allure Homme Sport for $20. Lasts 5-6 hours on my skin.

Thanks for the feedback. Will definitely have to try out the Thallium Sport. I guess I could try them out and always do a PIF if I truly did not like them.

They are cheap enough online where it is no huge loss if you don't like them. I think Thallium is only around $17 on Amazon.
