Boots shave soap

did someone tried the boots shave soap? found it on an online supermarket store and it has 5 of 5 stars.
is there any soap you would compare it?

its not bad actually...its really cheap, its a kind of a lemony/zingy type stuff, it lathers easily and smells nice. only problem I have is it makes my lips feel like they're burning haha. its neither moisturising nor drying really. are you in the uk? because from the store its something like £3.50 or there abouts (with a bowl) and there is also a shaving cream which is even cheaper but I have not tried this. worth a try for the price!

I have a couple of the sticks. Nice holder and decent soap, but not great. On the UK high street, the Palmolive EU stick is at least as easy to find, about the same price, and better soap. You can even put it into the Boots holder, if you like.

Are the shave bowl ingredients the same as the stick? Here is what we have for the stick at Boots Shaving Stick Refill:

With the Palmolive being such a good performer and at such a good price, I have no idea why anyone would want the Boots stick. But I suppose it's a YMMV thing.
