Boker Arbolito Straight?

What can you guys tell me about this? Kind of one of those impulse buys but i've always wanted a Boker and figured I would go for it. A bit more than I usually pay for a none B&B razor. Your thoughts?

Ive never seen this model, but I am big Boker fan, so far all of mine have shaved great! They are cool razors, and yours is awesome! I really like the etching, well I like the whole razor! Nice pick up

Looks like a great razor. Boker's take a great edge and the one I own is a great shaver. I'm currently looking to upgrade all my razors to better ones and I think you did quite well on this. I would love to own that boker as an upgrade over mine. Congrats!

Boker makes good blades. My Edelweiss is a fine shaver. You should enjoy it a lot.

Great guys. Usually if i pay in the hundred dollar range or over for a straight i like to do it on here since you stand a better chance of not getting ripped off so i'm glad i did alright on the Bay for once. Thanks for all your replies.

It's terrible. I'm always on ebay looking for the straight that everyone missed. Straight razors and Coticules are consuming me. Oh well, it passes the time, i guess.

I used to wear them all the time. They would be so tight on my wrist that my arm would be tan except for the area under my watch. Well, one day my band breaks and i had to walk around with that naked white wrist which i proceed to get one wicked sunburn. I'm talking blisters and everything. Haven't worn one since.

Funny enough I was just given my grandfathers pocket watch along with my great great great grandfathers pocket watch. Both which work wonderfully (If you remember to keep them wound).

I was considering using them but afraid of losing one.

Looking at the stamp, isn't this one of the new Bokers? The stamps on the the old vintage look a lot more different and aren't as wordy as the stamps on the new ones being made.
I think the seller knows better than they claim.
from the discription.
"believe this one is the neighborhood of 50 years old Please look closely at the pictures as part of the description".
Anyways for the price looks like a nice razor.

I had said in my post that the price i paid for it was more than i wanted to spend on a none B&B razor because member here are knowledgeable about straights and won't try to rip people off...... It turns out that the razor is from a member from here lol small world isn't it? My first high end razor came from this member so i'm sure it is as old as he says. I know what you mean though about the older tree in the scales Boker. I want a Boker like that in the future.

This Boker is one of the best razors that you'll ever use. It holds its edge better than a Friodur and it's smooth like a CV Heljestrand. Great score.
