Big Bang Theory

Is anyone else a fan of this show? I have a few friends who are into the whole geek culture thing, and I started watching the show on their recommendation. It has really grown on me.

I love this show. A couple people I know from school can't watch it, hits too close to home for them I think. It is a great show regardless, I just choose to put something else on when they are around.

Love it.
Wife always watched the tabloid shows waiting for the latest reality show to come on. I tuned in on recommendation of the guys I work with.
Ended up buying all 5 seasons on Blu-Ray. Wife really likes it... reminds her of growing up with her brother.

It's amazing how Lorre can have such a winning show back to back with the "Two and a Half Men" snoozer.

Even Lisa Lampenelli got in a dig on 2.5... said that in 28 days of rehab you can watch 1344 episodes of 2.5 and not laugh once.
Seriously... it's gotten a chuckle out of me a couple of times, but not really because it's funny... I'm more laughing AT the show rather than WITH the show, if you know what I mean.

I'm a fan and really enjoy the show. I also enjoy watching all of the reruns even when I've seen them a couple of times.

love this show I watch it every day almost I have not seen all the new eps because thursday is a busy day for me so I will be doing some catch up soon but the show cracks me up every time!

Big bang is hilarious. It annoyed my wife until she actually sat down and watched a couple episodes. Now she's addicted like me.

Agreed, it took a while for it to grow on us but SWMBO, our 3 yr old son and I all really like the show. We can typically get the 3 yr old to watch it over just about anything else.

It's a great show. Comedies need to develop and grow to maintain interest, and the producers made a wise move to bring in Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler to counter the inherent weakness of the characters of Raj and Leonard that was beginning to weigh on the show. She's perfect as the female Sheldon.

I enjoy the show immensely. It is relatively accurate in its portrayal of geek culture so, in essence, it is funny because it is true. I can't say this from experience, but I understand that most of the science talk is accurate as well.

I got moves like Jagger
Before I even knew about the show, two co-workers in different jobs over the span of a year commented that I reminded them of Sheldon. When one of our friends commented to SWMBO that I reminded her of one of the characters, she watched an episode or two and said I was Sheldon (without knowing about my previous co-workers' comments), but doesn't go for "that kind of humour."..... yet she married me, go figure?

I watch from time to time, but still haven't figured out if the Sheldon comparison is a compliment or a good-natured shot :tongue_sm
