I'm always looking for the next best razor for my head-shaving routine and for a DE "backup." For quite some time, I wanted to try Bic Metal. Most on-line retailers sell them in large packs; I need just a few. Last week, I found a 5-pack at our local VA hospital commissary.

Tried them 3 times on my nugget. Still like Excel better.

Thanks for sharing your mini-review. As a head shaver (6 years). . . I have used many carts, disposables, and even the headblade until I finally discovered the DE way last April 2012. There is nothing better, closer, challenging, and more fun than head shaving with a DE or SE razor.

I just used a Bic Metal on my face for a quick weekend shave the other day.

It did a good job for what I needed. It got me in presentable shape without much fuss.
I probably could have tried for the full BBS, but that's not what I was after.

I use Bic Metal or the Green headed ones for quick shaves and they work great.

Great for travel or a quick clean up but not something I would want to use on the regular.
