I couldn't watch. What a maroon!
He should be slapped senseless and sterilized.
Can you imagine how bad that has to smell?
I remember, when I was a kid, an episode of the David Letterman show where he had a barber that used fire to give haircuts. He did Letterman's hair on stage. Of course, Letterman gave him such a hard time that I am not sure if he finished.
It's a very old technique called singeing and it's based on the faulty theory that it 'seals' the end of the hair while cutting leaves it open because when you burn hair it forms a little ball on the end (that promptly breaks off). It is a technique that fell out of favor in the early 60's when more scientific methods of hair care started to emerge.
About the only remotely useful thing about this technique is to quickly remove the 'frizzy' appearance of split ends on long one length hair.
a one inch section of hair is twisted into a tight twist and ruffled with the backside of a comb to reveal the split ends. A flame is quickly passed over the hair to burn these off. This process is repeated on the strand until there are not a lot of split ends appearing to be burned off and the next section is treated.
Actually even this process is a bit archaic since we now have consitions with substantive proteins and polymers that can effetively 'glue' the split ends together and improve the appearance of the hair.
I know how to do it but when I was teaching barbering I would only mention it for historical reasons and did not teach it.
Step away from the crystal meth immediately! Gosh, I bet that room absolutely reeked! What a complete buffoon
Nah. A meth monkey would have used a Bernz-O-Matic torch, then tried to take it apart(probably while it was lit). And had a girlie mag. They always have girlie mags.
I hope this guy is not representative of our 20 something generation. If so we are doomed.
