Another best shave story
I just got a Mekur bakelite for travelling to the US next week and thought I would spend a few days using it first, So today I had a new Semogue 620 that I had prepared overnight in lather after a good detergent soak and a 2 day old Astra SS ,I had a shower washed off the 620 and used some proraso preshave then face lathered with the QSC Cayman (that i was PIF'd recently) and away I went 3 passes with/across/against after a cold wash I added some thayers and some CC bay rum aftershave,The result a total BBS no nicks no irritation, The perfect start to my day , that little DE is amazing I reckon just like this forum

Awesome!! If you don't mind my asking, where did you get your Semogue? How do you like it? Badger or boar?

I got it locally in Australia its my 2nd boar brush,I bought it based on reviews I had read here and wanted it for face lathering,so far its a good brush that will improve every time i later with it I think,its relatively inexpensive at around the $28 Aud dollar mark and even cheaper elsewhere I would think.

thank you I love the US,this will be my wifes first time though i'm sure she will love it we are only doing the west coast and Vegas this time round though.
