Gents,
I just had the pleasure of a dfs with my straight. Probably not the finest shave I've given myself yet. However, it is probably the best because if you told my 10-year-old self, that there would be a day where I'd shave with a straight, before getting into a tux, bow-tie, the works, and heading out to a black tie ball with a stunner on my arm, 10-year-old me would have fallen on the floor laughing at the absurdity of the awesomeness of it all. In short, I think I just rediscovered the child in me that used to rehearse his Bond line in-front of the mirror, because I was sad like that. Turns out I still am.
For me, this is probably a stand out shave so far. Albeit for some rather bazaar reasons. My question is, any of you gents have a similar stand out shave, for reasons other than the perfection of the shave itself?
