Best Lavender Soap or Cream

SWMBO informed me last night that she wanted a lavender cream or soap to shave with. She has been using mostly Razorock products lately and my first thought was to pick up King Louis or Chianti Lavender; however, then I started wondering if maybe we should try one of the lavenders from any of the well known English brands, or maybe somewhere else. Whatever she gets I get to use too, so that means I must order some...and then I hate paying for shipping so I will get to add other things to my cart to reach free shipping. I am not worried too much about price as long as I'm not paying a premium for an inferior product.

So what is your favorite lavender soap or cream and why?

If you like the pure lavender smell, CF Lavender might be your thing. I find it a bit too strong. But the performance is amazing.

I was just contemplating picking up a lavender soap, so I'm interested in hearing what people have to say as well. I've heard good things about the D.R. Harris Lavender, but I've never tried it myself.

Lavender is definitely my favourite scent of them all and I have several Lavender soaps and creams that I love. RazoRock King Louis, Chianti Lavender and Castle Forbes Lavender Oil are "must have" in my den, but I'm also awaiting for the Strop Shoppe Lavender to arrive and have Harris Lavender soap in my wish list to try one day.

KMF. I have no basis of comparison, but other members here say that it's a surprisingly good lavender scent. It's also dirt cheap and just as good brushless as it is when lathered.

Ach. Brito Lavanda is a good, cheap lavender. It isn't a very sweet lavender though and it is more earthy but their Lavanda cologne smells absolutely amazing since it is more of a woodsy lavender.

If you are going to go cream my recommendation would be AOS Lavender; it's a nice thick/ dense cream with a wonderful Lavender scent IMO.

+1 Marco RazoRock King Louis, Chianti Lavender and Castle Forbes Lavender Oil ....Chianti Lavender was the first soap I feel in love with , so much so now that it was mentioned I will order a tub when Joseph returns!

Well KMF is available at the grocery store so we will try that regardless if we order something else

Vulfix Lavender is nirvana to my nose.

Haven't been able to find many reviews on this, I assume you like the performance as well? Price seems good for 225ml of cream.

Castle Forbes and Martin de Candre

I wasn't aware that MdC was lavender, I guess this will definitely justify the purchase!

I think I will definitely grab RR King Louis since we haven't tried the shea butter soaps from Razorock, but everything else you all have mentioned looks enticing. I have been wanting to try Castle Forbes creams anyhow so this would be a good reason, though it had been the lime that has been on my short list. I love soaps so the DR Harris intrigues me as well. I can't decide, guess I'll have to try them all :biggrin1:
