Best Grooming & Shaving Leather & Canvas Strop...any comments?

I have not tried one of these but it looks like a pretty good deal. One caveat: horsehide often does not have as much "draw" as cowhide and that might make it marginally more difficult for a beginner to use, but that seems to be a small risk.
