Best Grocery/Drug Store AS Cream

Howdy All,

I am looking for an aftershave - I am more of a cream guy than a splash guy. I like a good fragrance, but am more worried about something soothing as I have a pretty thick beard so the face gets beat up a little bit.

What AS creams that are readily available at the grocery store or the drug store would you recommend. My aftershave so far was the Pre de Provence - but was hoping for something cheaper, and easier to get my hands on now that i moved out of the big city.

Thanks in advance...

Afta, at under $2 it can't be beat. Nivea sensitive is super and can't be had for around $5. Those are my two go-to balms.

The one grocery store has some organic stuff - is the burt's bees balm any good?
l enjoy a number of Burt's Bees products but have never tried the ASB. I would also vote for Nivea sensitive alcohol free balm. At $5 per bottle it's hard to beat.

My inexpensive balm of choice is Everyman Jack. My grocer carries it for $5. Smells nice, and works well for me in the winter. Though my favorite is QCS balm, and I think it might be pretty reasonable because of how little I need. I haven't finished my bottle yet so once I know how many shaves it does I can do the math!

+1 for the Nivea balms, and the L'Oreal aftershave balm is good as well.

I've only used CO Bigelow for a cream ( soap guy, myself ) but it's some good stuff. Bath and Body Works. Ordered it online, wouldn't be caught in there myself. : )

Edit : my bad, wrong forum. Sorry.

My daughter's pediatrician recommended some CeraVe lotion for her dry skin and I have used it for the last couple of days after shaving and it calms down the irritation and leaves my skin very soft. Not as cheap as some of these other options, but vastly outperformed both the Nivea and Neutrogena that I also have on hand.
