Bering Watch For my wife

Hi has anybody heard of the Danish watch manufacturer Bering?

I would like to get my wife a new watch and I saw this at a local jeweller for $239 (CDN), seems pretty reasonable as it has a synthetic sapphire crystal and part ceramic band.

It is a really sharp watch and I am wondering if anybody has any comments about the manufacturer or other suggestions in a white ceramic ladies style watch that would be like this?

Where is it made? It's not made in DENMARK...If it was it would say so. BEWARE OF CHINESE WATCHES!!

I dont know why I was not thinking of the COO as I usually do!

I have emailed the company to ask the COO.

Does anybody have a suggestion on a good ladies watch that looks like this and under lets say $400?

Well I have looked further into watch brands and it seems lots of watches (or part of) are made in Asia now. It seems that Japanese watches may be more reliable or open to where they source their products but I did not find a suitable Japanese watch model.

I dont know if in this price category that I can do much better? I have checked Seiko and they are all old lady watches. I think I may go with the Bering.

Can anyone else wade in on this?
