Broke down and loaded my EJ with a Feather blade instead of my usual go to Astra SP. Never used a Feather due to fear of massive blood loss, sutures and possible reconstructive plastic surgery from what I have read about their sharpness. The end result was probably the best shave I have ever had. I don't know if it was a mystical bbs but it was mighty close. I am now a big Feather fan.
I was feeling so good about my shave, I have decided to go ahead and pull the trigger and order a Simpson 58 Best Badger. Feel like it's time to step up from the Tweezerman that I use now.
Heck, I even went by a local consignment shop and found a couple cool old bottles and decanted some aftershave. I even used the hairdryer trick to remove the labels from the original bottle.
So I guess it has been a shave themed kind of a day.
