Well, I cant think of a more disadvantaged person out there in the world - we need to take up a collection! This is a tragedy of immense proportions!!! This cannot be allowed to go on, please someone DO something!

Captain's Bay Rum.
the purest bay scent can be found in "dominica" or "st. lucia" brands...a best dollar value is superior 70 bay rum from puerto rico,available in the "ethnic" or "hispanic" section of many walgreens stores,but NOT in the shaving section,runs about $3 for a nice size bottle...
Second this. Captain's choice is the best performing and smelling bay rum I have used.
I have used only the Sup 70, and found it a bit heavy on the "clove" scent....kinda felt like a Christmas ham...

Another vote for the Captain's. If there is a better Bay Rum, I've not found it.
Master's, 8 bucks for like 5 gallons at Sally's.
barlcay crocker has a good sample pack of many bay rums.
Another vote for Masters. The only scent in the bottle comes from Bay Oil. Its cheap, a good introduction to the bay rum scent, and you can pick it up at your local Sally's.
Some, including myself, like the Ogallala Bay Rum.
I will second this. There are so many to suit any taste, try as many samples as possible to determine what's right for you.
I've tried many of them myself and I can tell you what my personal preference is: Dominica Bay Rum. I have used this as my aftershave for years. I find my skin loves it and it doesn't interfere with any scent I might choose to wear.

I recently picked up a bottle of Royall Bay Rhum, goes on heavy on the cloves but the scent lightens up after a few minutes.
I've only tried Donny Hawleywood's Bay Rum. SUPER clove on that one. Lasts awhile too.
Gotta get my hands on some different brands to compare though.
