Has any one tried one of the $13 badger brushes. I have two. The first worked so welll that I bought a spare. It holds water well, lathers well, feels softer than my boars and just performs well all around. I can't see a reason to pay more for a brush. It only shed about 3 half hairs that I figure were hiding in the knot loose. This has been months now.
