Baumler Suits

Does anyone own or know anything about Baumler suits? There is a store near me that is offering them at a large discount (225-250 with alterations included). I believe this is based on the company either going out of business or undergoing restructuring. The quality seems quite nice, but I figured I'd poll the masses in hopes to find out a bit more.

Funny you brought the subject up, I picked up a dark grey sharkskin Baumler tonight. To my understanding, the brand is on the same plane as Hugo Boss black label but with better quality fabrics and construction.

They have a website still up, me thinks the North American distributor may have gone bust.

I needed a grey suit ASAP and did not have a ton of cash to splurge so the price was right for me and it was not Hugo Boss (I have little love for that particular brand).

Now if cost was not a consideration and I did not have a deadline, I would have waited for a Brooks Brothers sale or saved up for a Samulsohln.
