Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier Reels.Anyone Use Them?

I've been looking to get a nicer casting reel. I have researched out the wazoo and am very impressed with the Bass Pro Pro Qualifier reels. $99 bucks and they have features of reels two and three times the price. Bass Pro's website has almost 800 reviews raving about them.

I particularly like the dual cast control (magnetic braking and centrifugal pins).

Has anyone used these?

Never used one, but i hear good things. If your in the market for a new baitcaster consider the Lew's Laser MG ($80). Performance is amazing for the price.

Since my post I have been to Dick's Sporting Goods and looked at several of the Lew's reels. Man, did they feel nice. I know that company has had a renaissance lately. I am actually leaning toward one of those now. I'd like to get one with both magnetic and centrifugal brakes, but those are a little higher up price wise.

You can't tell much in the store I know, but the feel of the Lew's was head and shoulders above any other casting reel there.

I have heard great things about the Pro Qualifier as well. I have also heard the Abu Garcia Revo series are fantastic but I think they are a little pricier. I honestly don't know if having both magnetic braking and centrifugal breaking is really necessary. I have a pretty cheap Abu Garcia Silvermax which just has magnetic breaking. I just put the breaking a little less than halfway on and it casts great. It gets great distance and I hardly have to thumb it except after it hits the water.
