So, this is supposed to smell like Old Money from The Great Gatsby.

The violet and geranium really dominate. I'm not sure if I really like it. Luckily, it has calmed down to a vanilla/woody scent, but still. It reminds me of scented markers or some old perfume a little kid would play with when Mom doesn't want it anymore.

We'll see.

I’ve got the West Egg version, which I like a great deal. I also have West Egg aftershave, which I like even better than the EdP version. In fact, I’ve got four bottles of the aftershave—today it’s my favorite aftershave, out of over 100 flavors.

Of course, West Egg was made by Chatillon Lux, not B&M, so it’s not only apples and oranges, it’s apples and French fries.
