Silver Needles.
This is my favorite tea. As a matter of fact, when I began seriously exploring teas I simply got stuck on this one and drank it exclusively for 10 years. On some evenings, especially after a particularly gritty day at work, I retreat to my front room and enjoy a cup in quiet. The experience is transcending on a level hard to describe.
Does anyone else enjoy Silver Needles or Jasmine Silver Needles, another one of my favorites? The Jasmine is also amazing iced. I've made it for company on a hot summer day and it never fails to impress.
Unfortunately, my contact in Hong Kong for 20 years is no longer there and I am at a loss of where to find this tea again. I realize it is on the net now, which seems amazing to me, but where does one find a quality vendor that can be trusted?
