I follow the EPL, mostly in print. At times, it seems like following the Championship might be more gratifying for a neutral.
Your man McKenna seems to be the real deal. It must have been great to follow the Blues since he took over. (Tractor Boys, really? Where's that from?) I'm glad he wasn't enticed/sold away.
It will be good to see some brains and maturity take on the money and the noise of the PL juggernauts and their hyper-critical fanbase. Here's to Ipswich Town climbing into mid-table at least. I'll be rooting for them.
I was born in Ipswich 63 years ago, so ITFC is in the blood. We have had some highs under Sir Bobby, and some real lows more recently, but let's hope for some time in the sun!
Congrats. I’m a Leicester supporter and we’re coming with you (although it doesn’t matter as much to me since we already won the Premier League and FA Cup recently, and there’s nothing left for us to play for). Nevertheless will be fun to play with the big boys again.
I wish you good fortune for the season ahead. Too many clubs go up and come straight back down, so I’d like to see Ipswich do well.
Not a great start, went down 2-0 at home to Liverpool. We seemed to run out of steam in the second half. I think we might well do ok though, some promising signs. We actually went to a bar here to watch it as it was a lunchtime kick off (Suffolk time!).
