Aubrey Organics - Men's stock aftershaves

Hi, so I noticed in my local whole foods store a bottle of Aubrey Organics north woods afterhave. It has witch hazel in it. The scent isn't very strong ( which I actually don't mind since I don't want it to clash with my edt). They only had the north woods scent but I saw in their website that they have a city rhythms (sandalwood) and spice island (bay rum). Has anyone tried this and what do you think?

thanks

I use the Spice Island and really like it. I'm a big Bay Rum fan and have 7 or 8 different Bay Rums. Spice Island is one of my favorites. It also performs very well. I don't use a lot of balms, due to oily skin, but the Aubrey Organics absorbs well and moisturizes without over-moisturizing.

I bought mine at Whole Foods, which is another plus (local availability!).

I've been using City Rhythms almost daily lately. I like it enough that I'm going to replace it when it runs out. I've noticed that there is more pachouli than sandalwood smell to it, so be prepared for that.

I have a bottle of Northwoods. My Mrs's likes it so that is always a plus. The pine is noticeable, and gives it kind of a nice winter smell. The smell is warm if that makes sense, and I don't think it is a good warm weather scent. It reminds me of carrying firewood in that is freshly split. It fades fairly quickly aswell which can be a plus or minus.

I am an AVID user and shameless endorser of these products, particularly North Woods. It is an outstanding aftershave and definitely my go-to for well over a year now. Its scent is clean and approachable and appropriately fleeting. It is made responsibly with quality ingredients and outperforms all of my other (15 or so) aftershaves. It has a very agreeable price point (ten bucks or so) and is readily available.

I will also vouch for Spice Island - a unique spin on Bay Rum with all of the organic qualities typical of Aubrey aftershaves.

That would explain why City Rhythms didn't jive with my body chemistry... smelled like manure to me when I applied it. Fortunately I was only out a sample.

Don't let me discourage you from trying it however.

Used the City Rhythms Balm for the first time this morning. Very pleased with scent and not greasy at all. When I use Burt's Bees it leaves a sheen on my face AO did not at all. Had a slight sting when first applied, but went away in less than 30 seconds unlike EMJ Signature Mint which seemed to burn for about 2 minutes+. I also got the North Woods balm which I'll try next shave.

I bought a bottle of both Spice and City Rhythms. The Spice Island is stronger, and very similar to Burt's Bees Bay Rum aftershave that was discontinued several years ago. The City Rhythms is nice, I've just used it once, the feel is fine, the sandalwood sent is pretty light.

I always liked North Woods, but my wife says it smells like bug spray. City Rhythms is nice. All their products seem to be great for my skin.

I used to see this in Whole Foods but haven't lately.
I was tempted. Just as well, I have loads of aftershave.

Same goes for me. My original post about buying it at Whole Foods was about 3 years ago. They stopped carrying the aftershave shortly after I bought mine. Oh, well.
