Approaching number 1,000!

No, not the number of razors I purchased from eBay.

My first straight razor shave was on July 19, 2007. I know the date because I posted about it.

1,000 days later was last week, on April 27. So my 1,000th shave with a straight razor would have been April 27 -- if I had shaved every single day, and used a straight razor each time.

Well, I haven't shaved every single day, and I've used a straight most of the time but not all of the time. Sometime in the next three months or so will be the thousandth time I've put a straight razor to my face.

I'm not the type to keep track of details like this but it would be cool to know when I'm taking straight razor shave number 1,000.

Congrats on being almost there. I've been at this straight thing for about 4 or 5 months, not sure which, and I've no idea of how many straight shaves I've done. All I know is that they're getting better with every shave. You're way further along than I am that's for sure.
