AOS Starter kit Brush, but ready for the next

I have been using the brush from an AOS "starter kit". I've used cream and face lathered for the past ear but recently bought a mug and soap. I'm not sure which I like better, at this point. I would like to buy a larger brush (maybe a medium) but I'm unsure which would be best since I haven't settled on just one method (face or mug lather, soap or creme). And, I for whatever reason, like the T&H brand (and dig the BB10 discount). Any suggestions?

I use a mug and soap and I still face lather. Assuming the soap is in the mug, the purpose is to load your brush with a paste-like substance which is then built into a lather on your face or in a mixing bowl. Also, consider the Simpson Wee Scot. It's cheap, effective, and works well with both creams and soaps. It really only shines as a face latherer though; it's small handle makes it a little useless for building lather in a bowl. Luckily I find face lathering superior to bowl lathering :wink2:
