AOS Badger Brush

Does anyone know how makes the brushes that come in the "Full Size Kits" from Art of Shaving?

They come in pure, fine and silvertip.

Be careful before you buy. I got the carry on kit a while back with sandalwood products and a brush. It was my first experience with sandalwood and I thought I was allergic to it because my face itched everytime I used it (this was my first brush and cream when I first started wet shaving). I stopped using it and my face was still itching. After trying a few different soaps, I got a knot from TGN and made my brush and the sandalwood cream was great. The brush was total crap.

I'm sure they sell some great brushes, but the one in the travel kit is garbage.

Am AOS pure was my first badger brush and it started me on the path to excessive brush ownership and vintage razors. It is a decent brush, but I paid about 3x as much for it as I would have paid for a comparable brush somewhere else.

I think you can't go wrong by buying a vintage brush off Ebay and reknotting it with one of TGNs, say the finest with extra stuffing, or something to your liking. That way you can afford to try a couple different knots.

The AOS travel brush is unpleasant and useless.
