Anywhere to sample

Hi gents and ladies,

Is there a place I can actually try before I buy some of the aftershaves (and shave cream) to see if the scent is something I like? Does anyone sell small samples perhaps? I would pay for something small.

I am most interested in products made outside the US for something different. Recently I purchased Echt Kolnisch 4711 and am not thrilled with the scent. so I got to wondering how we can try these out before we invest in the large sizes.

I have a freezer bag full of samples from Maggard's, Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements, Stirling Soap, Most of the Artisan's will offer their products in sample sizes. Barrister and Mann started doing very generous soap samples recently. Before Maggard's carried them for that artisan. I will have to dig out my bag. Hell if you will pay shipping I can send you all the samples you will ever need. PM me.

The Razor Company has some samples and low shipping cost. ($3.99 if I remember correctly)
Maggard Razors has many samples and higher shipping.

no problem. I have found scents I like and have a ton on hand. If Magyars is missing or out of stock of something hit me up I even have all the pinaud scents

The Goodfellas’ smile, an Italian brand, offers "The Tube". ​

It contains 14 samples of their shaving soaps and it costs 20 euro's or something. ​

Currently sold out at rasoigoodfellas, but perhaps available through another source.

Saponificio Varesino, Martin de Candre, and, some others I can't think of now offer their own samples, but, try Maggards first. Especially for Martin de Candre beceause they offer little jars of samples as opposed to the paper ones the Martin de Candre offer themselves.

Which non-US products are you looking for specifically?

I made the mistake of ordering a few PAA aftershaves without sampling. To be fair of the 6 I only didn't like 2. But I really hated them.
Now I almost always order samples unless it's limited run or heavily discounted

I’ve seen a sample set of the chiseled face soaps and a few travel sizes of various Pinaud aftershaves on Amazon. B&M and Stirling both offer 1oz samples of their soaps. Maggard’s offers a decent selection. I ended up with a sample of Captain’s Choice Venture aftershave as part of an order from someone but can’t remember who
