What's new

Anyone's face look and feel better since they started wet shaving?

My face looks clearer, smooth and healthy ever since I started to use a facial cleanser, shave with a brush, use a DE/TracII and use a face worthy aftershave.
Anyone else?

I suppose my face looks better but I know for a fact that it feels better both to myself and, with closer shaves than I honestly thought possible, even more importantly to my wife!

Depends. If I shave every day, I can start to develop a red bumpy patch on the jawline, despite technique, prep, etc etc. If I shave about 5 times a week, my skin looks great. Seems I need a break here and there for the skin to bounce back.

I get a little red irritation now and then but defintely feel better over all and my skin looks and feels great

I'm about 6 months into DE shaving and I can honestly say no. My skin looks the same. Right now the only benefit I'm seeing is the money savings on blades and the pride of using my grandpops Krona.

My face looks and feels better after DE shaving for the last 20 months. I used to shave with an electric razor which I thought was kinder to my face than blade shaving. However, I had lots of ingrown hairs, shave bumps, irritation at the jawline, etc.

Now my skin is smoother, I no longer have ingrown hairs, and all the bumps dissapeared. The improvements in my skin condition was one of the first things that I noticed when I started DE shaving. It's only gotten better from that point forward. Now Ienjoy the shaving process.

My skin does look better but not really from DE shaving although I do get less irritation. I just take better care of my skin since I started on the DE.

Looks and feels better since I stopped using liquid after shave lotions and started using after shave balms instead. Must be the moisterizer in the balm!

The condition of my face is directly linked to how new my feather is! But seriously it depends on the day. Most of the time yes, but I never had nicks with my old cartridge razor.

That said, I actually look forward to shaving now. I used to dread it. So despite the occasional weeper and razor burn (I'm still figuring out this one patch on my neck) its well worth it to enjoy my time in front of the mirror dragging sharp metal over my face.
