Anyone use Pinaud's lime scented colognes?

At $8 each, they aren't an expensive experiment, but I'd still like to get some idea of what to expect. Does anyone use Lime Sec or Citrus Musk from Pinaud?

What can you tell me?

My athletic club has the lime sec, so I can use it for free. I like the scent, it's not strong, very refreshing. I used to use it as a hair product when I was a kid. I still like it a lot.

I've tried them both. They both smell of Pledge, the musk a little less so. I find the Lime sec maintains its smell for an hour tops, the Citrus musk seemed to hold on for 3-4 hours. Neither seems to have the intensity of the Clubman. They're both pleasant enough, but I doubt I'd buy them again.

I wear the Citrus Musk as a daytime, summer time scent. It has a nice lime scent with a hint of musk. Believe it or not, the two work well together. SWMBO likes the aroma, so that is really all that matters.

I think of these more as aftershaves and you will find a lot of folks like them on the aftershave forum. The Lime Sec is a typical sweet lime and mixed half and half with Family Dollar Old Spice clone makes a credible spicy lime. Citrus Musk opens with lime but dries down to a nice clean scent. I like both... as aftershaves.

My one & only go-to aftershave/cologne is Citrus Musk with hints of lemons, limes and musk!

I mix 2oz of Royall Lymes to 6oz of Citrus Musk (and 1oz of glycerine for increased the moisturizing and toning), for 'long-lasting' scent (at least that's what the Mrs. [she loves the scent], tells me after I return from a day of work).

I have and enjoy the Citrus Musk. I agree with the comments equating it to an aftershave. Probably lasts a little longer than a typical aftershave, but not as long as a cologne.

I have both the lime sec and musk. I prefer the musk by far. While the lime fades quickly, the musk stays a while, and the scent overall is better balanced.

Same here. I use the Citrus Musk when I need a little pick me up, as it seems to do the trick for whatever reason. I'd definitely give it a shot.

I've used both, and prefer Citrus Musk. The Lime Sec is lolipop sweet at the beginning, then becomes a strong soapy smell. The Musk gets the soapy smell later as well, just not as strong. Geo F Trumper's is the best lime I've found so far. I have an almost full bottle of Lime Sec I'll be getting rid of, but may buy a bottle of Citrus Musk.

The Lime Sec is a very lolipop lime to me. I like it, but do not wear it very often. Lack of courage, I guess.

The Citrus Musk seems very middle of the road, nice, acceptable, tradtional, etc. to me. Not much legs from either. Both very refreshing. I like Pinaud a lot, in general. Good, traditional, manly scents, even the Lime Sec.

I have bottles of all the Pinaud aftershaves/colognes and my suggestion (with these two) is to go with the Citrus Musk. It's definitely better than the Lime Sec. If your curiosity gets the best of you $16 isn't a big loss.

I use the Lime Sec as an aftershave. Not enough longevity to be considered anything else. It is a decent AS

I have them both and use both as an aftershave, not a cologne. The Lime Sec is sweeter with sort of a Jolly Rancher Lime scent. The Citrus Musk is a crisper scent - much less sweet than the Lime Sec. Both are short lived, so I put an ASB on top of either of them followed by a cologne with some nice citrus top notes to carry the citrus theme a bit further before the basenotes take over.
