Anyone try Gillette Thermal Scrub?

I have a sample tube of it.
Sure I'll give it a try. What's the worst that could happen?

It feels like a chemical burn on my face.
Most unpleasant.

If it's anything like this stuff, it gets warm or at least feels warm. I don't actually think it does anything at all that a hot cloth couldn't do...

I tried it and passed it on to my wife.

Yep, it gets warm, and has little scrubby things in it for abrasion, I guess.

I think it irritated my face, perhaps because I was scrubbing too hard.

SWMOB commented that my face looked really red.
I have since gone back to Cetaphil.

I like the aftershave balm though for an intense menthol blast.
I had SWMBO put some on her underarms after she shaved, and it was fun to watch.
1st reaction was "Well, I don't feel anything special", wait for it, wait for it.
then "Oh my lord, and you like this ???"

I have a little sample of that too. It's not bad. I used it today.
This morning I put some of the thermal scrub on SWMBO's arm.
She was talking to me, then just stopped and looked at her arm.
She said "is it supposed to feel hot like that? I don't like this at all"
Then she washed it off her arm. I said " Yeah, try it on your face. It's worse"

I tried it in a sample pack. The warming sensation wasn't off-putting to me, but I got some in my mouth while vigorously scrubbing and it tastes awful. I won't use it again.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks. I'm not sure if it helps, but the heating sensation it a bit weird. I might try going a week without and see how my face reacts.

The heating sensation is a bit strange, but so is an intense face-freezing blast if you think about it. The scrub itself is pretty good. It's definitely a bit more aggressive than, say, an apricot scrub but I like to use it every few days.

I left my sample tube up for grabs at work after I saw the warning:

"Avoid contact with lips and eyes"

I know that they're being overcautious, but I'll avoid contact altogether.
