What's new

Anyone tried this?

I've seen those ads on T.V. for that product to remove skin tags. Just wondering if anyone has used this product, and does it work? I know the tags are harmless, but the couple I have are near my armpit and are the flat, slightly raised ones. I removed some of the ones that stick up a bit by just twisting them over a few days until they just come off, but that technique can't be used on the flatter ones. If you've used this stuff is it good? How long does it take to work?

I have no problem going to the Dr. for treatment, its just that I only have a couple of really small ones, and was just wondering if this stuff works. And would it be an alternative to having to go through the hassle of getting the referral from my primary care, waiting for the appointment, travel, etc. etc.

I let my doctor remove them. It's fast and painless, plus if there's any other skin problem, he will see it.

I tried using the Dr scholl's skin tag remover for one near my armpit. "Hold and press on skin tag for 40 seconds.". I ended up burning my skin and it hurt for a week. I'll be seeing my Doctor instead.

My doctor who removed at least 10 mostly underarms commented..."take a piece of sewing string, tie it as tight as you can to the base of the tag..watch it fall off within 5 days..blood supply is what keeps em growing...works everytime!

I tried the string trick one time several years ago, and it does work.
But it hurt like Hades for those few days.

Would you believe my dermatologist's name is Dr. Payne? :biggrin1:

Thanks for the replies, I've done this before but just by twisting the ones that stick up. I twist them until they pinch, then wait until the next day and twist them a bit further until they just drop off. The ones I have now are just slightly raised, but you can't get at them to twist them, or tie them off. I was wondering if this stuff works on this type of skin tag?
