Anyone do Pinterest?

I just started using Pinterest, and it seems to be very beneficial for me. I set up a page designed with the items I use for shaving, this way when I click on the item I added, it acts like a permalink to the place where I frequently purchase said item. How different do you find it from a site which can manage your bookmarks? Is it the way you can organized pictures/links??

I have not used the pinterest, so the part I do not understand is after you set up your page do other people's posts/links affect it? Or is it just a way for you to organize stuff and then other people link to it? Thx.

I use it infrequently, mainly because it's a pain to use it on an iPad. I like it, though. Lots of interesting visuals, and yes, it's useful for organizing bookmarks.

I find it to be a great tool to organize bookmarks, and other people can share what you have found. I am still new to it, but I highly recommend it.

I've always stayed away from it. The girls took over it and Its blown up with wedding gowns and pictures of Chaning Tatum/Ryan Gosling. I haven't been to it in a while though. Has it become more male oriented. I'd like it if I could browse other pins the have been pinned by guys or even women with similar interests to me. Although I have to say the creators who made it really came up with something big. My brother recently got married and I kid you not, my sister in law had a binder filled with ideas that she got from pinterest.

For any gents who like the basic idea of Pinterest but dislike the predominance of female interests on the site, I would recommend checking out Gentlemint. It's structured like Pinterest but specifically caters to men.

You have made my night. About to get in bed and just about every night the wife hops on the ipad and surfs on Pinterest. I'm on it too but mainly to surf and look at either "food porn" or the motivational pictures the ladies use....meaning incredibly fit women with the motivational quotes next to their incredibly sculpted....well you get the picture. Now I can hop on Gentlemint, very cool!
