Any Re-Scalers?

Hi there,

I have a 4-5/8 W & B wedge with rosewood? scales, but the scales have warped a tonne( Alberta's really dry) and now the blade doesn't center straight and had dulled my razor,

Does anyone here make scales and re-scale razors? I'd be interested in something cool like antler perhaps, i can supply the antler if you were up for it, Or if anyone works with horn, i have some cowhorn i can flatten and send with the razor,(you'll get enough for a couple razors ) for you to cut out and slap on for me, i bought some pins and tried to get it to straighten but i just really couldn't get it to work, i'm gonna have to get the razor rehoned sadly so i thought i might as well see if someone was interested in doing a little project

You might want to PM Ray-man. He is rescaling a couple of my razors with Amboyna wood right now. I have only seen pictures, but they look awesome so far. I don't know what other materials he uses.

What's that sort of thing cost. I've always been curious. I have some pretty beat up scales I wouldn't mind not having to use on my razors if I could get something affordable for them. And I do like wood scales.

I asked for a pretty expensive wood because I liked the way it looked. Cost was $80.

By the way, the price included honing as well.
