Well, to make an embarrassing story short, I accidentally linked a thread that discussed products that are tested on animals rather than the one that discussed products that are known not to be tested on animals. I had both open in tabs and didn't look closely enough at the thread titles so yeah, I linked the wrong one. Given that it's exactly the opposite of what the OP asked I think it was easily the most wrong option possible.
On a related topic, I found the most stupid thing ever at work the other day.

How could a taste test be even remotely harmful to animals, and if it were, why would I want to feed my dog something that they don't trust enough to feed to test animals?

J.M. Fraser's cream says that it's not tested on animals.
The Body Shop shaving cream, as well as all of their other products, is animal friendly and a damn fine product.

Thanks, Paul. Like I implied in my original post, that's what I'm using. Wouldn't mind a change, though. Doesn't seem to be a great deal else around, alas. I'll check out JM Fraser.
(The animal rights thread is quite amusing - unless you're a lab animal, of course. Reminded me of discussions we were always having when I was at school, oh, 35 years ago!)

Oops, as usual, I didn't read everything carefully. I just love the stuff and like passing along the good word about it.
Just a tip of the hat to the Body Shop cream. Whatever Maca Root is, I like it.
My favorite Brick and Mortar store doesn't carry products that have been tested on animals.
They carry the following shaving products:
C&E Nomad, soap and cream
Col. Conk soaps
Pre de Provence soap and cream
Omega soap and cream
Lucky Tiger
Kiss My Face
Alba
Kiehl's
Lightfoot soap
They carried L'Occitane years ago, but had to drop it when the minimum order became cost prohibitive.
They carry the following shaving products:

Here's a quick did-ya-know. Did ya know that pretty much the only ingredients in non-animal tested products were already tested on animals by someone else to make sure that they were okay - the new age people just look at the list of okay ingredients and claim they never tested
