Don't know how many of you fine people here are gamers, but....
So I get an email from Blizzard Entertainment giving me a Beta key for one of their new games coming out. It's all well and good, except, the release date of the game is July 27th. The key is for this weekend only....just thought this is real funny!

What's the game? Starcraft, Diablo II and Warcraft III destroyed my youth. I know they've got new Starcraft and Diablo games coming out. I plan to stay as far away from them as possible.

I'm currently playing the Starcraft II beta religiously (meaning too much) awaiting the start of the new university semester

I've finally mastered deleting prior emails on my Blackberry. Difficulty level was right up there with learning to fly a heliicopter.

Starcraft II. Just finished my first battle and it's good to see I still got it. Yeah, all of Blizz's games have pretty much sucked me in at one time or another.

I was always pretty bad at the Starcraft/Command and Conquer/Warcraft type of games. I don't like to have to put much thought into video games (How do I stop a zealot rush? What's the best build for Zerg? Which hero should I get first?) and didn't want to spend time strategizing. I still played, anyway and enjoyed losing on Battle.net.

I much preferred the Diablo games where I could just click and kill. Diablo III looks incredible, but I will not be buying it, as I know it will be the end of my academic career.

thank goodness i have never been a fan of blizzard's over all game look (animation and environment) because they come out with far more MMO games than SE who put out my favorite game series (that i spend too much time on).

I hear ya on SE game addiction....still playing/drooling from FFXIII. a buddy of mine got FF XIV alpha/beta invite, man do I wanna smack him.
