Was at the store today with my wife and needed to pick up some shave soap. I normally use VDH, and am happy with it even though its all I have ever tried. However, walking through the organic/natural isle I noticed Kiss my Face Moisture shave. I have read several good things about the brand on here so I thought what the heck, I have never used a cream before I'll give it a go. it was on sale too for $6 for the 11 oz pump. I got home and started a test lather. 1 pump and a brush I ran under hot water for 30 second ( a VDH basic boar to be exact). Holy crap. SOO much lather! I didn't even add water throughout the process and lather just kept building! I am really going to like this KMF.
So here is the questionable part. I had got the unscented bottle because it was all they had. I enjoy scented creams so I thought, "how can I scent this?" I recently aquired a bottle of Aqua Velva Ice Sport. "Lets try this," I thought. Not a good idea. It made even hot lather feel cold, and it stung and burned much like when you use it after a shave. It also dried the lather out. Needless to say, this will not happen again.
Anyone ever try this? Anyone get better results? Any way I can scent this stuff, cologne maybe?
