Ive been using an alum block for months now and even though its works well for an alternative to an alcahol based aftershave i dont think it does much in the way of sealing nicks.The way i use it is after im done shaving is rinse my face with hot water rub the alum block on my face for about 20 seconds then cold rinse then apply the alum block for another 20 seconds all over the face then cold rinse again pat dry apply some trumper skin food but if theres any nicks there still bleeding.Any one else get this?,The kind of block iuse is osma but there all the same arent they lol

The alum block doesn't stop the bleeding of weepers, for that i need My Nik is Sealed. But for the light abrasions it works adequately. I'm using it mainly to keep my face clean post shave and let me know how good or bad my technique was. The more sting, the worse my technique.
If I hold it on nick for 30seconds it stops bleeding, but the steptic pencil does it for me in 10seconds...

If you use it under your arms it stops the stink!
