What's new

Alt Innsbruck

Just got it in the mail yesterday and it is such an unusual smell. At first I didn't think i was going to like it but now each time i use the bathroom I find myself unscrewing the cap and taking a wiff of this peculiar stuff. I think it will grow on me. Just thought you all should know this for some reason :blushing:

Just got an order from Bullgoose and bought the 2ml sample. Sprayed some on the back of my hand and can't decide what to make of it yet. Really persistent from an aftershave, I'll give it that.

It's actually a cologne/aftershave hence the longevity.

I got a sample of this from Bullgoose. My initial impression was that it was a clone of Acqua di Parma Colonia. Very short lived, about an hour.

I got some samples of this when my new shaving gear came in the mail (I'm a big newb). I'm not a huge fan of the aftershave emulsion, but the eau de cologne I really liked. I'm not sure my wife thinks the same, but maybe it will grow on her.

Does anyone know what the 66-60 signifies? Maybe it's just my fundamentalist upbringing hearing it's head to be interested in such numbers :confused1. Or is this just one of those wet shaving mysteries, like the mysterious numbers on razor blades?

It was the first altogether unique scent I had experienced in a long time. Used it this morning and love it.

There was a thread posted back in July were someone emailed the company and asked them what that meant. Here was there response.

Dear Mark,

The part 66 is the chemical connection between the fatty ingredients
in our solutions (= between wheat germ oil and wool wax)
the part 60 is the chemical connection between the fluid ingredients
(= water and alcohol)

Here is the whole thread if you care to read it.

I just recently got a bottle of this and I really like it. Like others have said, it's definitely a unique scent; but, at the same time, it isn't overpowering. The smell only stays relatively strong for about an hour or so before becoming more subdued, and leaving a wispy but pleasant scent for most of the day. It's really perfect for someone like myself who doesn't like being too pungent.

Plus, it's such an unusual smell that I've gotten several (positive) comments on it already.
