This is a side view. It usually takes me a good two months to have the full beard look…so here’s to growing!

Worked in some Striking Viking beard butter into my beard. Even though i’m not shaving I still care for my face. Beards are cool

@LuckyGlenn thanks- i had to shave always for work and so i think I thought that being shaven was the proper thing to do, but now I’ve been on disability for the last ten years and I decided that a beard is a good look and the more i notice them on others I think,”yes, it is a better look in my opinion.” It seems a little unnatural now that I’m thinking about it to run a razor blade over my face. But if it’s good for someone then do the darn thang. Have a great day

Glad you’re enjoying the experiment. If you’ve always shaved you could use this opportunity to try different looks too, long side burbs or a van dyke. Especially now that you know what it looks like at 5 weeks.

I don’t even really think about shaving anymore. I’ve grown beards quite a few times in my life but some older gentleman would tell me to shave so i did. I’m no longer living in group homes so the only gentleman telling me what to do is myself. It’s kinda funny what a person does to fit in with the mainstream society and at the drop of a hat the mainstream society will cut you off from it. There’s no one to impress but yourself because that other person really doesn’t care about you they just feel the need to throw around their two cents. Well, my pockets are empty as it is and i’m not looking for any change. Have a day that you can be proud of. Cheers!
