"Got Shoes?"
I have the PTB in Cigar and it just has a great lustre. Just mad at myself for not getting any Ravello chukkas when they were plentiful. Now the Ravello, as well as the Whiskey and the Cigar, will be scarce for the next year, if not more. So, get them if you can find them. :yesnod:

I found the Whiskey and Cigar shells in PTB's in my size, along with Cigar shell Chukkas. Decisions decisions....

The PTB is by far the most elegant model for any of the shell colors ... no.8, cigar, whiskey, ravello ... yes, if at all possible, get them all!

I think the cigar is a little more rare than the whiskey, so I'd go cigar. The natural sole also "pops" more as a contrast with the cigar color

I'm not implying you're incorrect, but what makes you think Cigar is less common? I was under the impression that the lighter the color, the less commonl as it requires a hide with zero imperfections, as the imperfections show on lighter colors.

I guess it was my perception that I have seen fewer special make ups by the likes of Leffot, Epaulet, and Leathersoul in cigar. That could be totally incorrect - I haven't been much of a shoe geek for the last couple years.

I'd go for whiskey, not really because of the rareness factor, but because I suspect it'd take on the nicest patina over the next two decades.

you guys buy really expensive shoes.
I wore an old pair of Bass shoes today and apparently my feet have grown. I have VERY painful blisters!
