Aftershaves and Humidity

I have seen many times over the recommendation that aftershaves be stored in a dry place and not, therefore, in the bathroom.

Most aftershave bottles that I have encountered have caps which provide a very tight seal.

Is the humidity of the bathroom really something to consider when storing aftershaves with tight caps? And if so, why exactly?

I see no other reason to store aftershaves (with tight caps) in dry places than keeping the labels intact. Even then it would usually have to be really wet place to spoil them.
