If you want one, just have a Slim replated and call it an adjustable aristocrat.
I sincerely hope you're kidding. It's possible I'm missing the humorous sentiment, but this is exactly the kind of thing I worry about when discussing the merits of replating.
Actually I was kidding, since some ebay sellers are suspected of this. But if one of my favorite razors needed replating, why not in gold or rhodium? I see no harm in it for my personal use. I do think that no matter what a razor is replated with, it's not original and should be listed as replated if sold.
